United Methodist Women

Purpose:

United Methodist Women logo
The organized unit of  United  Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ, to develop a creative, supportive fellowship, and to expand concepts of  mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
 
All women, church members or not, are welcome to attend any or all meetings of United Methodist Women.  Baby-sitting/Nursery service during the meetings is available free of charge at the church.  Reservations are required.

COKERFEST is the annual arts and crafts festival sponsored by United Methodist Women benefitting United Methodist missions. Cokerfest is held the first Saturday in November - this year November 4, 2017.

May 9: UMW General Meeting, 10 am, Wesley 703/704

Assemble goody bags for CELC staff. Hostesses are Sharing & Caring Circle.

 

May 11 and 25: Quilter's Circle, 1 pm, Wesley 805.

 

May 16: Faith & Hope Circle, 6:30 pm, Wesley 806. Continue study of James W. Moore's " Yes, Lord, I Have Sinned But I Have Several Excellent Excuses."

 

May 17: Cokerfest Quilters, 10 am, Cookie Nattinger's home.

 

May 18: Reflections Circle, 9:30 am, Wesley 703/704.
