Coker Sacred Dance Ministry

Sacred dance has as its purpose the deepening and focusing of the worship experience. It is not merely ornamental or decorative. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, dancers offer praise and worship to God and therefore it is considered an ‘offering’ rather than ‘performance.’ Weekly rehearsals include instruction, prayer and the building up of community within the dance group. Adults and youth (6th grade and up) who have a natural grace of movement and flexibility are welcome to visit rehearsals prior to making a commitment. The Coker Dance Season typically runs September-May.

Director: Shannon Wolfe,
