Dear Ones,

God is at work in our lives and church in ways we cannot see or understand.
This Scope of Ministries shows us how we are the hands, feet and voice of Christ in our community and around the world.

You can greatly affect every single ministry we have. Maybe you cannot go on a mission trip or be as directly involved as you would like to be. Through your generosity, you are a stakeholder in God’s work, allowing others to go when you cannot.

Our ministries in 2012 are entirely dependent on God’s grace and provision through you. How do you see God at work in our lives and in our church? How will God lead you to be a part of Coker’s ministry through your generosity?

Please join me as we prepare our hearts in prayer. Let us focus on this one question, “If everyone gave like I give, what would Coker’s future be?”

If we let go of our limitations and trust God, imagine what God can do in our lives and in our church! I am eager to see what plans God has for Coker UMC. Let us work together to make it happen to God’s glory.

Coker UMC is called to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.  Coker members and friends support the work of God at Coker through their financial gifts.  The need for Coker's ministries and mission outreach is greater than ever.  Coker needs your financial gifts to support its mission and ministries.  Coker members and friends need to contribute financially to grow in their discipleship.

"Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."
-2 Corinthians 9:7

Why pledge?
Your actions allow others to experience God's love through you. Your pledge shows us your intention to be a part of the many diverse ministries of Coker in spirit.
