A Faith-Based Counseling Ministry supported by local churches

Millions of people struggle every day with mental and emotional issues.  Some choose to keep things to themselves, others may seek support from family and friends.  Still others have tried everything and continue to live in pain.  If you are struggling with issues that don't seem to resolve, we are here to help.

Annie Viers and Celeste Inman are Licensed Professional Counselors who are highly trained in their field.  With different specialities that range from marriage and family to anxiety and depression to play therapy, they match you with the appropriate counselor and resources.  They offer their services at a very affordable, reduced rate for those who are members of the participating churches, including Coker UMC.

Anyone can call us directly for an appointment.  However, if you would like some assistance with your session fees, you must first visit with your pastoral staff (by phone or in person) to let them know you are interested in counseling with the ministry. You DO NOT have to disclose your current issues with your pastor unless you would like to do so on your own. The pastor then communicates with us that you are ready to make your initial appointment.

If you would like further information about the ministry or counselors, or if you would like to make an appointment, please call!

5 Love Languages

By "speaking" these five languages of love to your spouse, children, or any other significant person, you can help strengthen that relationship.
  1. Physical touch: kisses, hugs, high fives, back rubs, wrestling, touch to the arm...
  2. Words of affirmation: words of affection, encouragement, praise, positive guidance...
  3. Quality time: quality time & conversations, undivided attention, eye contact...
  4. Gifts: an undeserved gift, a present as an expression a love, something meaningful...
  5. Acts of service: freely & lovingly providing/helping..."give one's energy to others..."
