Worship Services

Sunday Morning Services

8:15, 9:30, and 11:00 am in the Sanctuary

  • The 8:15 a.m. worship service features traditional piano and organ music selections, choir anthems and special music. The sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated each week.
  • The 9:30 a.m. service is a blend of traditional and contemporary music, featuring a praise band, and special music from soloists to small ensembles. Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month.
  • At 11:00 a.m. we offer a traditional worship service with a full choir, and a different musical offering each week from organ to handbells, and brass group to a full orchestra. Holy Communion is also celebrated on the first Sunday of each month.

Saturday Evening Worship

5:00 pm in the Chapel

Worship service in Coker's historic 70-year-old rock chapel features traditional hymns on piano.  Communion is served on the Saturday before the first Sunday of every month. In this relaxed atmosphere, a hymn sing is enjoyed each week where congregants pick 5-6 favorite hymns to lift in praise.

5:00 pm in the Upper Room

Rios de Gracia is a primarily Spanish worship service in the Upper Room Chapel in the Gibbs building. Worship includes fellowship, praise, prayer, a Bible reading, a message from the Bible, and Holy Communion every first Saturday of the month.

Emmaus Worship

6:00 pm, monthly

The Coker Emmaus Community gathers for worship in the Sanctuary on the second Sunday of every month.  A fellowship time is offered beforehand, at 5:00 p.m. in Wesley 703/704. If you would like more information about the Emmaus Walk spiritual renewal program, please click here.
