  • Connecting at Coker

    Join us for dinner, July 22nd at 5:30 PM to learn more about the ways to plug in at Coker! We will meet in Wesley 703/704 all are welcome. E-mail your RSVP to Barbara Keeper.

  • Summer Sermon Series

    Join us this summer as Pastor Adam Knight leads us through this Campus wide, 8-week (or 40 day) journey through the Bible. If you are traveling in the summer, no worries, this study can go with you through the book, Bible and livestream (or sermon archives). For some people the Bible feels immense and unapproachable, but The Good Book will help guide us through 40 key chapters and major themes of the Bible. The Sermon Series begins June 16th/17th. Books can be purchased on Amazon.com and we encourage you to invite friends and family in on this study as well!

  • Reach Youth Mission Trips Meeting

    Join the Youth Group either as a student or volunteer! The Middle School trip is July 22nd-27th. Email Brendan at brendan.burge@coker.org for details.

  • VOLUNTEERS & DONATIONS Needed- Backpack Distribution

    The Coker Health and Wellness Committee is preparing for the Backpack Project to help supply backpacks and school supplies for children in need. We are joined by other area churches in collecting and packing everything needed for the students of families we serve. July 8 – August 5- We will be collecting donations of supplies or funds to purchase necessary items! Lists of supplies will be available soon. Donations may be left at the collection table each Sunday between church services. During the week, collections may be turned in at the office. August 6- Your help in sorting and packing the supplies is again appreciated. We begin on Monday, August 6, in the Coker gym from 5 – 8 p.m. August 13 and 14- Setting up for distribution of the backpacks is scheduled on Monday, August 13, in the Coker gym from 5 – 8 p. m. Then the supplies will be given out on Tuesday, August 14, from 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon. Contact Lori Armstrong 210-857-5662 or Linda Nolder 210-219-4749

  • Coker Children's Choir Camp

    Monday-Friday, August 13-17, 8:45am-12:00noon. Singing in worship on Sunday - August 19 Coker Children’s Choir holds a Choir Camp to kick-off the school year. Choir Camp is open to ALL potential choir members (*Kinder to Grade 5): returning choir members AND children who would like to give our choir a try. At CHOIR CAMP we will: learn to sing hymns & anthems, learn about worship & church, play games & instruments, enjoy making new friends, have LOTS of FUN! Coker Children’s Choir is open to ALL children in *Kinder to Grade 5 (*2018-19 grade levels). Choir Camp will be limited to 50 children.   • Social Media Seminar

    BRAVE PARENTING Presents the Real Dangers and Real Solutions for Smartphones and Social Media: SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 9th 1-3 PM, at Coker United Methodist Church. It is easy to be overtaken by the "normalcy" of smartphones and social media. However, the dangers and side effects of excessive screen and social media use are real and applicable to people of all ages (from age 9 to senior citizens). This workshop will give biblical and practical knowledge, tips, and resources to take home and apply. It is possible to build character and competency through the technology we all love, we'll show you how. A sandwich lunch is available for $5 from 11:30 AM-12:45 PM (by reservation only).
